Nico Williams has spoken out about his future after Chelsea and Arsenal both failed to sign him this summer.
Athletic Bilbao winger Williams was widely expected to leave the club during the summer transfer window after starring in Spain's triumphant Euro 2024 campaign.
The 22-year-old scored two goals and provided one assist as Spain won the tournament in Germany, with his performances attracting the interest of several top European clubs.

Chelsea were the early favourites to sign the youngster, but it soon looked like he would be linking up with close friend and Spain teammate Lamine Yamal at Barcelona.
Arsenal emerged as a late suitor when it became clear that Barcelona would not be able to afford to sign Williams, but in the end he stayed with Athletic Club.
Last December Williams signed a three-year contract extension with Athletic club that runs until 2027. The deal contains a release clause worth somewhere in the region of €55 million (£47m).

Williams decided to stay in Bilbao and was rewarded with the number ten shirt, previously worn by club captain Iker Muniain who left the club this summer.
The young attacker has had a slow start to the new season, failing to score or assist in Athletic Club's opening four La Liga matches.
Speaking after his side's 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Saturday, Williams opened up about his future but admitted he doesn't know what will happen.

"There were approaches from many clubs. I did well at the Euros and that’s a great showcase," he told DAZN.
"I had many clubs to choose from but my heart is with Athletic Club. I’m very happy here. God knows what will happen in the future."
William's is a product of Athletic Club's academy and plays alongside his older brother, Inaki.
Nico was at the top of Barcelona's transfer wish list this summer, but they - along with Arsenal and Chelsea - could find it difficult to tempt the star away from Athletic Club if what he said is true.
