"They are a fantastic team."
Asked by Jamie Carragher if he or any of his Liverpool teammates watch Pep Guardiola's side, he replied: "I don’t, normally.
"I know some of the lads do now and again, and at home they probably do, the way they play it is never nice to watch."
He brilliantly added: "I put the kids channel on or something, that is probably something better to watch."
It's not the first time Liverpool have found themselves in this situation having experienced the same scenario in the 2018/19 season.

Man City won at Brighton to clinch the league as Liverpool played at home, with Henderson discussing the nature of the match.
He continued: "We have had this before when they played Brighton away and they went one goal up, and the crowd cheer and you sort of know what is going on.
"It’s hard to concentrate on the game. Hopefully, we have that experience, we can learn from it and concentrate on what we need to do and hopefully Stevie and Aston Villa can do us a favour."
