A first official clip showing EA Sports FC 25's new controversial feature has emerged and it looks like some serious chaos could be in store.
The latest game in EA Sports' football franchise is released worldwide on September 27 and already excitement is building.

But above all, the biggest addition for this year's EA Sports FC game is undoubtedly the ability to perform tactical fouls in matches.
The feature promises to change the way games are played, with players having the option to deliberately bring down an opponent in the event of a dangerous opening.
And new footage shared online shows just how out of control games could potentially be.

Over on X, @FutSheriff posted a first look at professional fouls, showing the cynical nature in which a defender thwarts a promising attack.
Having been caught out, a German player grabbed a Galatasaray attacker from behind and gave away a free-kick which also earned him a blatant yellow card.
While fouls are not new, these are different types of offences - with players genuinely able to press a combination of buttons to cause a guaranteed stoppage.

Previous footage shows a glimpse of the mechanics involved through testing and clearly there are different variations of the fouls.
There is the possibility of going all Giorgio Chiellini on Bukayo Saka, with tactical trips also available.
Every offence will result in a yellow card and the fouls can be initiated by pressing 'R2' and 'X' on a PlayStation controller or the Right Trigger and 'A' if on Xbox.

Of course if this happens twice then the referee will dish out a red card.
Players are in agreement that it could be the biggest change for the game in years.
One stated: "These are going to be amazing."
A second added: "Getting a red card in pro clubs will be easy now."

A third wrote: "This is gonna be toxic lol."
A fourth said: "My controller will be flying around if this s*** happened with clear chance in 90'."
A final user commented: "Putting this in the game might be fun for a short while but overall it’s a bad idea."
