A first look at one of EA Sports FC 25's controversial new features has been provided and fans are braced for controllers to be thrown.
On Thursday, the gaming giants uploaded an official gameplay deep dive video on their channels - with the YouTube video amassing 1.6 million views.
The clip looked at Player Roles, Smart Tactics and Goalkeeper PlayStyles and other new additions to the leading football video game franchise.

But there was also a snippet of one new inclusion which looks set to completely change the way the game is played.
Earlier this month it was revealed that professional fouls were being added into EA FC 25.
Players have always been able to foul over the years but this time around, they will able to commit a deliberate offence and one that will result in a guaranteed stoppage.

EA gave a glimpse of how it will look in the game and it promises to be utter chaos.
In one instance, Federico Gatti of Juventus can be seen pulling Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr back as he runs in behind.
The foul gives off similar vibes to Giorgio Chiellini taking one for the team when he dragged Bukayo Saka to the turf in the Euro 2020 final.

EA also showed the testing version of the foul mechanic, specifically and then a tactical trip to break up a counter attack.
These fouls will result in a yellow card and can happen by pressing 'R2' and 'X' on a PlayStation controller or the Right Trigger and 'A' if on Xbox.
However, plenty of players think all hell could be about to break loose.

A third added: "Professional foul gives away a pen in the last minute at 1-1, opponent pulls the plug. Over and over again. This could be bloody awful."
A fourth said: "Just giving players a new way to be toxic."

A final user fumed: "Stupid feature no one asked for."
