Fans have spotted a key issue with the new EA FC 24 career mode, days before the full game is due to release.
EA FC 24 officially goes on general sale this Friday, although gamers who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition were granted seven days of early access.
Those who have an active EA Play subscription, meanwhile, received a 10-hour trial of the new game on the same date.

That means players have already been getting themselves into the game modes, with new features in Ultimate Team such as Evolutions received well.
There are also changes to the manager mode section of career mode in EA FC 24, including the setting of training plans, an updated transfer system and the inclusion of specialist coaches for the first time in over 10 years.
The way the coaches work is slightly different to the past, with each coach given a specific star rating and preferred tactical style. As a manager, it's your job to appoint coaches that match your own preferred play style, which you set at the beginning of the save, in order to maximise results.
But fans have spotted an error with the new system on EA FC 24 that could cause significant issues on career mode.

Players are assigned a weekly budget to recruit coaches, with the better coaches taking more money out of that budget.
There are different limits placed on different teams, though, as to how many coaches you can buy, meaning that you may need to release one coach in order to bring a better coach in further down the line.
But Twitter user @FCGems_ has posted that, if you attempt to release a coach from their contract for a fee, the game crashes.
In the comments section, a number of users stated that they had seen the same thing happen to them, making it effectively impossible for those users to remove a coach in the game to bring in a new one.
