EA Sports FC 25 will be released worldwide at the end of the month but a high-profile list of players will not be featured.
The new game will be live on September 20, with more than 17,000 players in the mix from all around the world.
The vast majority of ratings for the cream of the crop have been leaked beforehand but it has emerged that there are a number of notable omissions for the next game in the franchise.
For starters, a slew of players currently without a club will not be present.

The likes of Sergio Ramos, Anthony Martial, Adrien Rabiot, Memphis Depay and Dele Alli are all free agents and so will definitely not be included in the Ultimate Team mode.
It is possible that they will be in Career Mode anyone desperate for a freebie.
But as highlighted by @FIFA22_INFO on X, plenty of favourites previously in the game are not in because of the clubs they play for.
Although it has been a staple in the past, the Brazilian league is not in this time around - meaning Philippe Coutinho, Thiago Silva, Felipe Anderson, Bernard and Thiago Almada are not in.

France international Nabil Fekir recently moved to Al Jazira in the UAE Pro League, which is also not involved.
And fans have been left disappointed over the list of absentees.
One commented: "Game is dead now."

A second said: "Ramos is a big miss."
A third added: "They should make their own team lol."
A fourth user: "You know how heartbroken I am."
A final person replied: "A whole generation of players leaving."

In terms of those in the game, already we know that England pair Kobbie Mainoo and Cole Palmer have been given huge upgrades, while Manchester City and Spain midfielder Rodri has made history in being one of the highest-rated players.
Meanwhile, Manchester United's Casemiro has received a catastrophic downgrade which includes a brutal decline in pace.
