The stats of Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski have been crunched using a 'comparison matrix' tool – and there's a clear winner in the opening weeks of the 2024/25 campaign.
To kick things off, Kylian Mbappe has made a solid start to life at Real Madrid, scoring six goals in his first nine league games under Carlo Ancelotti.
In comparison to Kane and Lewandowski, the French forward is way ahead in terms of passes completed per 90 [25.7], which testifies to his already-impressive link-up play with the likes of Vinicius Junior and Jude Bellingham.

He has also played the least games following a hamstring injury but for the most part, Mbappe continues to show why Florentino Perez chased his signature for so long.
Kane, meanwhile, is currently the Bundesliga's second-top goalscorer with eight goals in seven games.
The 31-year-old, who netted a second-half hat-trick against Stuttgart on Saturday, also has the highest aerial duel success per 90 at 58.33 per cent; an unsurprising stat given his ability in the air.

But he lags behind the in-form Robert Lewandowski in many areas. As you can see from the graphic from Squawka below, Barcelona's number nine has scored 12 goals in 10 league games for the Catalan giants.
Lewandowski, of course, has played more games in the league but he reigns supreme in many aspects when it comes stats per 90.
He holds the highest shot accuracy with 68.75 per cent, as well as the most shots on target.
The Poland international continues to record a high percentage when it comes to ground duel success, as well – not to mention his ability to remain onside compared to Kane and Mbappe.

Lewandowski's form is undoubtedly one of the key reasons behind Barcelona's success of late. They currently sit top of La Liga, three points ahead of rivals Real Madrid.
"I know him [Lewandowski] very well, I have worked with him, his physical condition is one hundred percent," said Barca manager Hansi Flick earlier this season.

"He seeks out goals, he's a natural goalscorer. We always try to get the ball to him very high up the pitch, that's part of our game."
