Alexander Isak's stats per 90 this season have been compared to Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski.
The Swedish forward continued his hot streak in front of goal on Wednesday as Newcastle claimed a sixth successive Premier League victory with a convincing 3-0 win over Wolves.
It has been a campaign to remember for Isak, who became the first Newcastle player in history to score in eight successive league games as he took his tally for the season to 17.

And after the full-time whistle at St James' Park, Eddie Howe was full of praise for the 25-year-old.
“It’s an incredible achievement," Howe began. "This is the hardest league in the world to score in against very good defences, especially with the fixture list that we’ve had, so to have that level of quality that he’s shown."
So how do his stats compare to three of Europe's best forwards? In terms of games played, Manchester City's Erling Haaland comes out top after featuring in all 21 games for Pep Guardiola's side.

Haaland also trumps Kane, Lewandowski and Isak when it comes to shots on target [2.3 per 90] but the Norwegian falls behind when it comes to every other stat that features in Squawka's comparison matrix.
As you can see from the graphic below, Isak has the highest shot accuracy percentage [65.67%] and the best conversion rate [35.71%].
Robert Lewandowski, meanwhile, is slightly ahead of Harry Kane when it comes to ground dual success [48.89%] but all in all, Kane is leading the way with his league performances for Bayern Munich.

Kane has scored 22 goals in 22 games in all competitions for the Bundesliga leaders this season and while he's played fewer games than the above, he has netted four hat-tricks so far.
