Wrexham’s top summer transfer target has broken his silence on his future.
The Red Dragons are preparing for a season in League One, having sealed back-to-back promotions earlier this month with a commanding 6-0 victory over Forest Green Rovers.
And the first bit of business Wrexham are hoping to complete is a permanent move for goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo, who was on loan from Arsenal for the entirety of their League Two campaign.

The 22-year-old’s contract in North London is set to expire in the summer, with several clubs reported to be interested in his services.
And Okonkwo has now broken his silence on his future.
Speaking to the Athletic, Okonkwo said: “I haven’t looked too much into things at the moment. But I will, very soon.

“It is about looking at all my opportunities and seeing which is the best for me. I’ve loved it at Wrexham and they will stay in my heart forever.”
In a conversation with the BBC earlier this month, Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson declared his wish to keep Okonkwo beyond the current campaign.
Parkinson said: “Obviously we’re keen to keep Arthur and we’re working on that.
“It could take time but there’s one thing for sure, we’ll give it everything that we’ve got to keep Arthur at the club.”

Speaking about the overall plan for the transfer window, Parkinson added: “Myself and the staff will be sitting down and looking at the squad and looking at the players available and targeting the players we feel can help us next year.
“That’s keeping in touch with agents, looking at players who have been released, looking at players who have got one year left on their contract and who clubs are looking to sell.
“It’s a whole raft of players who could be available – players from Premiership clubs who could be available on loan. But the list changes – it’s a daily moving scenario really.”
