Wrexham have identified a position they would like to strengthen in the summer transfer window as they prepare for life in League One, according to a new report.
The Red Dragons secured their second successive promotion after finishing second in the League Two ladder, just four points behind eventual champions Stockport County.
After such an impressive campaign, the club are already being linked with several free agents, including Marvin Ekpiteta, Tom Pearce and Jonson Clarke-Harris.

Another player who has been strongly linked with a move is Liverpool youth product Joe Rafferty.
The former Rochdale and Preston North End defender made 39 appearances for League One side Portsmouth last season as John Mousinho's side secured their place in the Championship.
But the 30-year-old will be without a club this summer after being released by Pompey.

Rafferty has been touted to make a move to the Racecourse Ground this summer but Wrexham podcast RobRyanRed has poured cold water over those rumours.
"Contrary to reports elsewhere, RRR understands Wrexham are not pursuing free agent Joe Rafferty," they said.
It appears a move for the experienced defender has been ruled out but the source does suggest that Wrexham are in the market for an attacking wing-back this summer.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson has confirmed that he has spoken to a number of potential transfer targets since their final day of the season clash against Stockport.
"Inevitably, we are going to get linked with a lot of players," he said.
"There is always a lot of gossip going around. Some of it there is an element of truth in and some of it there isn't; some of it is off the mark and some of it is close to it. But we can't control what ends up in the media."
Parkinson added: "We just concentrate as staff on building our list together for the players and areas we want, and are working through them.

"We are having chats with agents and players, and trying to get the very best players we can to improve the squad come the start of the season."
