Real Madrid ‘interested’ in Premier League star as Carlo Ancelotti looks to build ‘super team’

Real Madrid have already confirmed the signing of Kylian Mbappe ahead of the transfer window.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in a Premier League star after sealing the signing of Kylian Mbappe.

Earlier in the month, it was confirmed that Frenchman Mbappe had moved to Madrid from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain.

A club statement read: “Real Madrid CF and Kylian Mbappe have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next five seasons.”

With the signing of Mbappe and the imminent arrival of Brazilian wonderkid Endrick, it has been said that Carlo Ancelotti will have a super team at his disposal.

The two new arrivals will join the plethora of world-class talents such as Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Rodrygo.

Now, it has been claimed that Madrid are targeting another big signing.

As reported by ESPN Argentina, the Spanish giants are interested in Tottenham Hotspur star Cristian Romero.

Recently, Romero spoke about his future whilst away with Argentina for the Copa America.

As per 101 Great Goals said to DSports Como Te Va: “The truth is that I’m fine.

“For now I’m not thinking about that [a transfer], I’m thinking about preparing myself these days to get to the national team in the best way possible, which is the next step I have.”

Romero added: “The things that come up at the moment are obviously always analysed but I’m not thinking about the future, I’m thinking about the national team.

“Now that I have the Copa America, I will always try to take the national team to the top and then we will see what happens.”

Speaking about Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou, Romero said: “I’m very happy to be in this present, even though group achievements haven’t been the best or we didn’t expect to end like this, but also, at the group level for the coach’s first year, he has been good in all lines.

“We have to keep wanting more. Individually, I’m very happy for this beautiful season that I’ve had.”
