Michael Owen has been told he is "talking rubbish" when it comes to the career achievements of Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane.
The former Spurs striker joined the reigning German champions earlier this year, ending his 19-year stint with the North London club.
Since his move to the Allianz Arena, the England captain has gone from strength to strength, having already netted 25 goals in 22 games so far this season.

Owen's take on Kane's spell in the Bundesliga raised eyebrows when he claimed earlier this year that Kane would have been better served staying put at Tottenham rather than making the move to Bayern.
Owen also suggested winning a Bundesliga title wasn't a good enough reason to leave Ange Postecoglou's side but former England team-mate Paul Ince dismissed his comments, claiming the TNT Sport pundit doesn't know what he is talking about.
"Bayern are undoubtedly one of the biggest clubs in the world but for me to win a trophy, I don't think there's anything really special about going and guaranteeing yourself a Bundesliga trophy," Owen told DAZN Bet.

"Bayern will win the league with or without Kane, so I don't think that was particularly a reason to leave."
Ince believes the 44-year-old doesn't realise how competitive the German top flight now is, especially given the recent form seen by the likes of Bayer Leverkusen, who lead the way so far this season.
He added: "I think Michael Owen's comments on the Bundesliga are very unfair. A title is a title. Bayern aren't even top of the Bundesliga.
"There's also the threat of Dortmund, Leipzig, and Stuttgart. It's not as easy as people think. Bayern barely won it last year.

"The Bundesliga is getting tougher. Any player who moves abroad and wins the league title has achieved something in my eyes.
"Bayern have won the Bundesliga every year since 2011, but they're judged on how they fare in the Champions League. I fancy them as winners every year, especially when they had Lewandowski.
"I saw them against Manchester United and I think Bayern will have a big chance of winning. If you ask me, Michael Owen is talking a load of rubbish!

"Harry Kane is loving life, scoring goals, and playing well. He went to Germany for silverware, and it'll be great if he achieves that."
