Harry Kane has strict car rule he must follow at Bayern Munich this season as striker changes vehicles

Harry Kane has changed his car at Bayern Munich, who have a strict vehicle rule in place.

Harry Kane has a new vehicle which he will drive to training in line with Bayern Munich's strict car rule.

Kane signed for the Bavarian outfit for a fee of £82 million in 2023 and has gone on to score an incredible 57 goals in 55 games in all competitions.

At the weekend he bagged yet another hat-trick in the 4-0 thrashing of Stuttgart and will look to continue in the same vein in the Champions League clash against Barcelona on Wednesday.

Last week, as per The Sun Kane showed off a new car which he had been gifted by his club as part of their long-standing partnership with Audi.

The German car manufacturers are shareholders and own 8.33 per cent of Bayern

And in a tradition which has lasted more than two decades, all Bayern players and staff receive a company car each season.

Though players can drive their own cars in their free-time, they are expected to drive to and from the Sabener Strasse training base in their Audi vehicles.

The rule must also be followed for home games and any other club-related activities

Cars from Bentley, Bugatti and Porsche are acceptable as they are part of the Volkswagen group which owns Audi.

In 2021, winger Kingsley Coman is said to have been refused entry to the training ground and forced to park his car on the street after turning up in his Mercedes.

On another occasion he came in his McLaren because the wing mirror on his Audi was damaged and had to issue a full apology.

In his first year at the club, Kane selected a Q8 e-tron in black worth £58,000, explaining: "I decided on a family car. Now that I have four children, I just need the space".

This time around, at the Audi HQ in Ingolstadt, Kane opted for a similar pick - going with the SQ8 SUV e-tron2 - an £82,000 electric car which can go from 0 to 60mph in 4.5 seconds.
