Manchester United's youngster Sekou Kone could be set to be fast-tracked into Manchester United's first team after signing in the summer from Malian side Guidars FC.
Kone first put himself in the shop window for Mali in the under-17 World Cup last year, where his performances were dubbed as the 'second coming of Yaya Toure'.
The teenager made the most interceptions (48) at the tournament and won the most defensive duels (47). A compilation of his performances soon went viral on social media.

Kone's performances brought with them significant transfer rumours as he was linked with a host of clubs, including Liverpool and RB Salzburg, before eventually putting pen to paper at Old Trafford.
United were initially hoping the 18-year-old, would become a first-team player in the long term after being placed in the under-21s on his arrival in order to adjust to life in England.
However, the Malian teenager could be set to get senior minutes far earlier than expected.

GiveMeSport have reported that Kone could be fast-tracked into making his senior debut after already impressing Erik ten Hag’s staff at Carrington.
The source also claims Man United could hand Kone his professional debut in one of the cup competitions this season, including the Carabao Cup.
United have already opened their campaign in the Carabao Cup following their 7-0 win at home to League 1 side Barnsley as Ten Hag looks to reclaim the trophy he won in 2023.

While their performance in the cup certainly had the X-factor we expect from a United side, it's been a far-from-perfect start to the Premier League campaign as they sit 11th in the table.
After a 1-0 win against Fulham in match week one, United failed to capitalise on their perfect start with back-to-back losses to Brighton and Liverpool.
Since then United have remained unbeaten, however, a masterclass from former United man Dean Henderson at Selhurst Park would have ensured their 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace felt more like two points dropped than one gained.
