Paul Scholes was furious at one Manchester United tactic against Wigan Athletic.
On Monday evening, United returned to winning ways to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a routine 2-0 win over Wigan.
Diogo Dalot put United ahead with a brilliant finish in the first half to score his second goal of the season, before Bruno Fernandes converted a spot-kick after being fouled by Liam Fox in the box.

United, who were recording only their third win in their last ten outings, set up a fourth-round encounter to either League Two outfit Newport County or National League side Eastleigh.
Moreover, it’s the Old Trafford side’s first away victory since the end of November, ending a run of five games on the road without a win.
Despite the victory, United legend Scholes took to Instagram to express his frustration at United’s corner routines.
Scholes posted an Instagram story which he bluntly captioned: “Short corners are sh**”
Naturally, United manager Ten Hag was far more positive than the United icon after the game.

Talking to ITV, Ten Hag said: "The FA Cup is all about winning, it is knockout. You want to finish the job. That is what I said in the dressing room 'job done'.
When asked if United should have scored more goals, the Dutchman added: "Oh, definitely.
“In the first half I think we created five or six very good chances.
“I think it was very good football. We should have taken more, but if you don't score you have to stay focused and I think we did that tonight."

Responding to why United missed chances, Ten Hag said: "I don't know. You can't always say why you've missed chances.
“There were some good attacks and good chances, but we didn't take them, but the way we created them was OK."
