Paul Scholes has claimed Ruben Amorim 'lied' in his post-match interview after Manchester United drew 2-2 against Lyon in the Europa League quarter final first leg.
United were on the verge of taking a 2-1 lead going into the second leg at Old Trafford after Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee turned it around for Amorim's men following on from Thiago Almada's opener.
But Rayan Cherki popped up with an equaliser just 30 seconds before full-time to avoid defeat for the hosts.

Having been branded the "worst goalkeeper in United's history" by former Red Devils midfielder and current Lyon star Nemanja Matic, Andre Onana produced two costly mistakes.
He was caught out by a free-kick that went all the way in, while he spilled a shot to allow Cherki to follow up in the dying embers.
After the game, Amorim refused to criticise the Cameroon, telling TNT Sports: “When one player makes a mistake, all of the team makes a mistake so we continue like that.”
Despite a total of nine errors leading to goals, Amorim said he would not be dropping Onana, adding: "No, we’ll continue to do the same thing in training, seeing the game and trying to choose the best eleven to win every match.”
Paul Scholes believes Ruben Amorim doesn't like United's team
Amorim had also claimed United did well" and are "improving game by game" but United legend Scholes was not having it one bit and believes Amorim does not like the squad he has at his disposal.

In an honest assessment following the draw, Scholes claimed: "I don’t think he believes that, to be honest with you.
"I don’t think he likes his team.
“I think he knows that he hasn’t got a great football team and I think he wants and needs better – you can see that from the way he is on the touchline.
“He always looks disappointed to me and the way he’s speaking tells me that he’s disappointed with what he’s got and he needs better.

“Everyone knows he needs better if they’re to challenge and be where we want Manchester United to be and it’s all over the pitch.
“I think he can be quite pleased defensively – they look quite tight and quite solid recently but it’s taken away that goal threat that they should have."
Scholes continued: “The quality around the pitch isn’t quite there. They don’t have control in the middle of the pitch and he knows, he’s not stupid.

"He’s never going to say it but he doesn’t like the football team and I might be wrong, but the impression I get is that this team is nowhere near the standard that he wants and expects and it could take two or three years to get something a lot better and a lot more enjoyable to watch but that’s what he’ll fight for.”
