Fans disagreed with Mark Goldbridge's take on Patrick Dorgu's red card for Manchester United against Ipswich.
The left-back, a £25 million January signing from Lecce, endured a night to forget at Old Trafford and gifted the visitors an early lead after an embarrassing mix-up with Andre Onana.
A moment miscommunication allowed Jaden Philogene to nip in and open the scoring, though United turned it around in the first half courtesy of an own goal from Sam Morsy after a strike from Matthijs de Ligt.

But when it looked like Dorgu's blushes had been spared, the Dane produced a wild and dangerous lunge on Omari Hutchinson.
After a lengthy VAR check where the referee analysed the challenge on a monitor, Dorgu received his marching orders and United conceded not long after when Philogene bagged his second.
On X, United fan and content creator Goldbridge said that Dorgu was "so unlucky" and had made a "genuine attempt to get the ball".

He added that it was "nasty" but "not malicious" - though fans on social media were not on the same page.
One fan replied: "He almost snapped his leg in half you prat. It’s a shocking tackle."
A second said: "Dude he could’ve broken his leg. It was deserved."

A third fumed: "Oh ffs come on. It’s a red all day long and I’m an avid United fan."
Another commented: "You are way overprotecting him for this and the first Ipswich goal!"
A fifth and final user vented: "Oh give over that’s a disgraceful challenge."
Goldbridge lays into United star
Goldbridge, who was doing a customary watchalong on the United Stand YouTube channel, had earlier praised Dorgu for a "fantastic" response to his early mistake.

But while he was lenient on the 20-year-old, he did not mince his words when it came to goalkeeper Onana.
The Cameroonian did not cover himself in glory with either of the goals he let in, with the second strike a cross from the right into the box which somehow squeezed past him.
After seeing the second goal, Goldbridge posted: "Onana has to go.....not following the flight of the ball on a cross like that is criminal."
United did retake the lead courtesy of Harry Maguire, who popped up with a header straight after the restart.
