Mark Goldbridge posted a telling message on social media after Sky Sports were told to stop letting Gary Neville cover Manchester United games.
Man United suffered their latest Premier League setback against Tottenham last weekend.
Spurs won the fixture, which was aired on Sky Sports, 1-0, condemning the Red Devils to their 12th league defeat of the season.
Before the game, Neville was critical of his old side and questioned Ruben Amorim's tactics.

"When you watch Man Utd, you're still looking at game to game. You have no idea what you're going to get," he said. "You have no idea what you're going to see today. They're a bizarre team at times."
Neville also slammed Man United's tactical approach against Spurs in a stinging assessment.
His comments on Man United have been lambasted by journalist Alan Tyers, who bemoaned the pundit's criticism of Amorim.
He also questioned why Neville hasn't taken aim at the club's hierarchy, having previously been critical of the club in the past.

Tyers went onto suggest Sky Sports should stop letting Neville cover Man United games. For The Telegraph, he wrote: "It would be a hard habit for Sky Sports and these guys to kick, of course, because it is such a reliable driver of engagement, headlines and online clicks. It is passionate, it is provocative, it is a blood sport and sometimes it comes across as personal.
"And it is a broadcast style that has contributed to Gary, who is a terrific pundit by any measure, being such an agenda-setter.
"But there was once the notion, now desperately old fashioned, that experts on the telly ought to have some sort of neutrality and impartiality and maybe, for variety’s sake if nothing else, Sky could try shuffling the pundit pack for a few of these games involving the big, wounded beasts of the Premier League."

Tyers' opinion piece appears to have the backing of Man United fan Goldbridge, who shared the post on X, accompanied with the caption: "Fair play! Mainstream starting to wake up."
Goldbridge clearly agrees with Tyers' assessment of Neville's criticism of Man United, who have now lost three of their last four league matches.
Amorim's side have just 29 points on the board as they occupy 15th place in the table.
