Manchester United are exploring a surprise move for Mali international El Bilal Toure, according to reports, as Ruben Amorim remains 'unsatisfied' with his forward options.
So far, it has been a relatively quiet window for the Reds – although things are about to pick up.
Leece full-back Patrick Dorgu is on the verge of becoming Ruben Amorim's first signing as United head coach, according to widespread reports, with the 20-year-old set to undergo a medical in the coming days.

Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel is also being strongly linked with a move after he turned down an offer from fellow Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.
However, in a surprise twist, it appears United are also considering a move for El Bilal Toure – the highly-rated Mali international who is currently on loan at Stuttgart from Atalanta.
A report from Foot Mercato claims Ruben Amorim is still not satisfied with the performance of his forward players.

Moves for Viktor Gyokeres, Victor Osimhen and Tel have been deemed 'too complex' to resolve this winter, according to the publication, but they suggest United have 'accelerated' their interest in Toure.
After cashing in on Rasmus Hojlund, Atalanta signed Toure from Spanish side Almeria for a fee that could rise to £25 million.
He failed to live up to expectations in his debut campaign at the Gewiss Stadium and was loaned to Stuttgart in August, where he has impressed in spells.
The 23-year-old has scored three goals in 13 games for the Bundesliga side this season but after suffering a broken metatarsal while on international duty, the striker remains on the sidelines.

Still, Foot Mercato claim Stuttgart are 'considering' exercising their purchase option of €18 million to permanently recruit Toure from Serie A outfit Atalanta.
The report adds: "Toure could then be recruited by Manchester United for €25 million euros excluding bonuses before being loaned to Stuttgart until the end of the season."
