Former Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has sent another message to Erik ten Hag days after his cryptic social media post reacting to the ex-manager being sacked.
In an official club statement on Monday, United confirmed that former manager Ten Hag had been sacked after over two years in charge.
Shortly after the official announcement, United legend De Gea appeared to react to the news with a cryptic social media post that suggested he was happy with the decision.

And just three days later, the Spaniard has sent another message to his former manager following his recent match with new club Fiorentina.
When Ten Hag joined United in 2022, De Gea was the club's first-choice goalkeeper having established himself as a club legend during the years after he joined in 2011.
Despite this, Ten Hag and his staff decided against renewing De Gea's contract with the club, leading to him leaving the club as a free agent in July 2023 and spending the 2023/24 season without a club.

However, ahead of this season, De Gea signed a one year deal with Serie A side Fiorentina and, after producing a man of the match for his new club on Thursday night, he sent a clear message to Ten Hag that he was wrong to let him go.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper produced a series of world class saves to maintain Fiorentina's 1-0 lead over Genoa in the Serie A, keeping a clean sheet and earning his side all three points.
Reacting to the performance on social media platform X, one United fan wrote: "I don’t know the reason why man united leave this man go after all what he did to this club."

Another agreed, adding: "We need you back at Man United, Please forgive us."
While one criticised Ten Hag, writing: "This guy is class no doubt, nature will never forgive ETH for treating him the way he did."
De Gea's world class performance comes after he posted the pinched fingers emoji on social media shortly after Ten Hag's departure from United was confirmed, perhaps suggesting he felt satisfied to see the Dutchman leave the club.
