Manchester United starlet Chido Obi has broken his silence after his professional debut against Spurs on Sunday lasted seconds.
United travelled to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a whole lot of absentees due to injuries and illness - so much so that the bench was made up of academy players and Sweden international Victor Lindelof.
Christian Eriksen and Leny Yoro were both ill, while Amad is ruled out for the season and Kobbie Mainoo, Manuel Ugarte and Toby Collyer are all injured.

It meant that Ruben Amorim had to name eight uncapped players as subs - one being exciting 17-year-old forward Obi.
The former Arsenal youngster has made a huge impression at youth level and has trained with the first-team on occasion.
Amorim was reluctant to use the limited options at his disposal but Obi was rewarded with his first-team debut at the death. The gigantic striker came on for Casemiro in the 91st minute of the 1-0 loss and headed up top, though his cameo only lasted 120 seconds and he did not get to touch the ball.

Some United fans fumed at Amorim for not bringing on Obi earlier, but the youngster had no ill feeling and sent a message on Instagram thanking the manager and the club for allowing him to realise his dream.
On his Instagram page, the Dane wrote: "Disappointed with the loss. On a personal note thanks to the gaffer & the club for making a dream come true for me and my family."

Amorim explains Obi change
Obi, who has dropped 'Martin' from his surname on the back of his shirt, became United's 252nd academy graduate in their decorated history.

After the game, Amorim explained just who he was the sole substitute used - highlighting his "very clever" abilities in the box and how he could have made the difference.
“If you see Chido playing, sometimes every ball lost in the box, he’s very clever, so I was trying to put one more player… because I felt the team was good during the game and I didn’t feel the need to change,” Amorim said.
“Chido was that player when, from a long ball, he could make the difference."
United find themselves 15th in the Premier League after 25 games and their next game is against 14th placed Everton at Goodison Park in an early kick-off on Saturday.
