Manchester United fans have had a mixed response to Ruben Amorim's explanation over why he decided not to make substitutions earlier during his side's 1-0 defeat to Tottenham.
An availability crisis ahead of the Premier League fixture on Sunday meant United's bench, except Victor Lindelof, was made up of academy players.
Amorim made only one change in the second half despite the 1-0 scoreline, with 17-year-old striker Chido Obi replacing Casemiro in the first minute of injury time.

Obi had little time to make an impact on proceedings, with some fans questioning why he wasn't brought on sooner.
When asked about the situation after the match, Amorim told reporters: "I felt the team was good during the game, and I didn't feel the need to change.
"Then Chido is that player, one long ball he could make the difference. Chido in the box is very clear."
While some fans understood Amorim's comments regarding the team's performance, others were unsure why, given his praise of the young striker, that Obi wasn't afforded more time to potentially change the game.

One wrote: "Why give him three minutes then?"
A second said: "He is clever in the box, and you gave him less than three minutes?"
And a third added: "And you brought him on in 91 minutes."

United did have a number of clear-cut chances during the game, including one from Alejandro Garnacho in the first half, which could perhaps explain why Amorim was hesitant to make earlier changes.
On the match itself, Amorim said: "It was the biggest difference of the game - they scored and we didn't.
"We had the opportunities to score. We suffered in some transitions trying to get a result. But in the end, they scored and we didn't.
"We need to put the ball in the net, because we had some chances, we created some chances, which is the hardest part.

"In some games we are there near the box, but we don't create chances. Today we created the chances, but we need to score to win games."
