What Alejandro Garnacho's brother posted after Man Utd's FA Cup defeat to Fulham could surprise fans

Alejandro Garnacho came off the bench in Manchester United's defeat to Fulham.

Alejandro Garnacho's brother 'posted' a telling social media post after Manchester United's crushing FA Cup defeat to Fulham.

Man United were dumped out of the FA Cup by Fulham following their 4-3 penalty shootout defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Bruno Fernandes had equalised in normal time to cancel out Calvin Bassey's opener.

But Ruben Amorim's side weren't at the races as the hosts struggled to create chances.

However, following the introduction of Garnacho, Man United added extra impetus to their attack as he fashioned a few openings.

He had a role in his side's goal, playing a pass to Diogo Dalot, who picked out Fernandes.

But Garnacho also missed a chance despite having a big impact off the bench.

After the game, his brother reposted the following message on X.

The post read: "Cut the clip before every Garnacho shot and you'd think he's one of the most dangerous players ever."

The 20-year-old started Man United's Premier League fixture against Ipswich Town before being substituted in the first-half following the dismissal of Patrick Dorgu.

He started yesterday's game on the bench and will be hoping for a spot in Amorim's starting XI when Man United resume their Europa League campaign on Thursday.

Ahead of the Fulham match, Amorim explained his selection: "Garnacho had an issue last game so we are using Eriksen because he is fit. We have Garnacho on the bench if we need him because it is a game that decides if we go into the next stage. We are going to try to use the characteristics of Chris which is quite different from Garnacho.

"The substitution (last game) was clear, he paid for the dinner and he's ready to go. He's working really well so I hope he continues to have an impact if we need it in the game."

This season, Garnacho has made 41 appearances, scoring eight goals.
