Mohamed Salah's priority is to sign a new deal at Liverpool, according to a new report, but he will 'consider' a move to one of Europe's wealthiest clubs if contract talks collapse.
The 32-year-old forward, who is widely regarded as one of Liverpool's greatest ever players, is currently in the final year of his £350,000 per-week contract at Anfield.
His future has been a huge talking point for some time. Last year, Liverpool turned down an offer worth up to £150 million from Saudi Pro League side Al Ittihad.

And earlier this week, it was reported that another Saudi Pro League club, Al Hilal, wanted to sign the Egyptian forward ahead of the Club World Cup.
"All signs are Saudi are going to come back in and if Salah is a free agent then naturally he can get a bigger sign-on fee," said talkSPORT correspondant Ben Jacobs.
"Liverpool want him to renew, Saudi are pushing hard. [Saudi Pro League sporting director] Michael Emenalo, who has a good relationship with Mo Salah, is leading the drive."
He added: "So the only thing that's really changed is the club from Al Ittihad to Al Hilal and the expectation is that Saudi will make a big push."

Last month, Saudi Pro League sports director Michael Emenalo said the reports are 'true' regarding a Saudi side's pursuit of Salah but now, a source close to the player has played down those rumours, instead bringing up Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain as a possible destination.
"There are no negotiations with Mohamed Salah and the door is closed so far," the source told Masrawy. "The priority is to renew with Liverpool, and if the Reds do not renew, Salah will consider Paris Saint-Germain's offer."
PSG's owners may be looking for a marquee signing following the departures of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe – and it appears Salah is on their radar.

Salah, meanwhile, shared a much-talked-about message on social media after he scored the winner against Brighton last weekend.
"Top of the table is where this club belongs. Nothing less," he wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "All teams win matches but there’s only 1 champion in the end. That’s what we want. Thank you for your support last night. No matter what happens, I will never forget what scoring at Anfield feels like."
