Fans picked up on the post-match reactions of Darwin Nunez and Mohamed Salah after Liverpool dropped points in the Premier League title race with a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa.
Liverpool missed the opportunity to go 10 points clear of Arsenal on Wednesday night.
Mohamed Salah opened the scoring with his 24th league goal of the season but after Villa netted twice in 10 minutes through Youri Tielemans and Ollie Watkins, things looked bleak for Arne Slot's side.

To their credit, they continued to cause problems and on the hour mark, Trent Alexander-Arnold's deflected strike levelled the scores.
But one of the biggest talking points – both during and after the game – happened just minutes later. After Dominik Szoboszlai squared the ball to Darwin Nunez, the Uruguayan blazed his effort over the bar from close range.
Speaking on the open goal chance in his post-match interview, Liverpool manager Arne Slot defended his number nine.

"From a 1v1 with the goalkeeper he made it an open goal chance. It was not Darwin’s best leg – he’s right-footed of course – but it was still a big chance," the Dutchman said.
"I was hoping he would get another chance because a player like him probably wouldn’t miss two chances in a row and he was very close but [Emiliano] Martinez made a great sliding tackle to win the ball."
Slot added: “If you look at the chances in the second half, there is one player in the dressing room who feels quite down - you know who it is.”
After the final whistle at Villa Park, a picture of Nunez speaking to goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez became another talking point on social media, with fans also pointing out Salah's devastated reaction.

Footage also emerged of Liverpool players applauding the away support as Nunez made his way to the tunnel.

Here's how fans on social media reacted to the scenes.
One said: "A huge difference when it comes sense of responsibility," while another commented: "How can you smile like this when you lost two important points?"

A third wrote: "100% don't like this if honest, no one should be smiling knowing you've dropped points in a game with such importance. Shows that one is a serial winner! Shake hands but not good to be so happy straight after the game."
A fourth added: "He's missing chances, but giving him stick won't make it all better. Support Nunez."
Ahead of their clash against Manchester City on Sunday, Arne Slot said his team "must not make a habit" of missing big chances.
"If you go away at Villa it is always a difficult fixture. Performance-wise, not a dip at all today in my opinion," he said.

"What we must not do, and a bit too often now, we don't get what we deserve. If you put all the chances in a row from us and them it's clear which team should have won this game.
"We must not make a habit out of that as it's happened a bit too much now but we are eight points clear with Arsenal having a game in hand."
