Chelsea and England forward Cole Palmer has opened up on what he misses most about anonymity after becoming one of the world's most recognisable footballers.
For some time now, Palmer has been one of the Premier League's most consistent performers. After joining Chelsea from Manchester City last summer for around £40 million, he scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists in his debut campaign for the Blues.
And the 22-year-old continues to shine at Stamford Bridge, inspiring Enzo Maresca's side to a title challenge this season.

"Right now, I think the way he's going... if he [Palmer] can take Chelsea to the title, he's going to go down as one of the greatest players for Chelsea if he keeps doing what he's doing," said Jamie Carragher after Chelsea's 4-3 win over Tottenham this month.
Palmer's rise has been remarkable, to say the least. But there are challenges that come with such notoriety.
Speaking in a candid interview with Chelsea's official website, he gave an insight into how his life has changed since becoming a household name.

"My life has changed massively," Palmer said. "I can’t really go to certain places when I just want to chill. Like when you just go to the shop around the corner, you’ll think someone’s watching you.
"Being able to play five-a-side is the thing I miss most, though, just being able to go and play five-a-side with your mates."
Palmer's so-called "unshakeable composure" is also mentioned in the interview. In fact, his demeanor on the pitch has earned him the nickname ‘Cold Palmer'.
But even an England international who has netted 12 consecutive penalties for Chelsea – a feat no player had previously achieved in Premier League history – feels the pressure from time to time.

"Obviously, I feel nerves, I am human you know," he smiles. "I don’t really feel it when I’m on the pitch, though. Maybe before the game I do a little but when the game starts I don’t."
Palmer added: "It’s like anything. You might feel nervous about something but when you start doing it you realise it’s actually not that bad. But I don’t really feel nervous much off the pitch, it’s just in some moments I might get nervous."
