Jamie Carragher has agreed to take on a new role with CBS Sports and their Champions League coverage after the success of his trial shift last week.
Carragher is a regular on the incredibly entertaining CBS panel alongside Thierry Henry, Micah Richards and host Kate Abdo.
But last week, the Liverpool legend was not in the studio and instead watched Borussia Dortmund's 1-0 win over Paris Saint-Germain at Signal Iduna Park.

With Alessandro Del Piero filming in for him, Carragher was in the club's 'Yellow Wall' Kop section and claimed to have sunk "about eight pints" of beer while on the job.
Carragher then proceeded to have a hilarious impromptu interview with Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and causes all sorts of chaos.
He was told off being too loud in the mixed zone, while Luis Enrique refused an interview because Carragher had a BVB scarf on.

But viewers loved the content and Abdo claimed that a meeting was held to discuss plans going forward.
She said that talent voted in favour of Carragher being a "roaming reporter" going forward, adding "We all thought you excelled".
The pundit is well up for the position but stressed that he would only do it for big games where the atmosphere is hot.

"Not in the group stage. Big semi-finals, yeah. I'll do that. Knockout stages in big atmospheres and getting in with the crowd. I think this could be a spin-off show."
In last Wednesday's broadcast, Abdo aimed Abdo aimed a cheeky dig at Carragher when she said, "You can take the man out of Liverpool!".
He responded by telling the presenter not to stereotype, before she pointed out that her mother is from Liverpool.
He then accused Abdo, who is fluent in multiple languages, of changing her accent "every now and then".

She swiftly wrapped up the segment by saying, "And there we are... we're gone!" before the show went to an ad break.
Carragher may be onto something but his presence amongst the CBS panel is also huge so doing it on occasion may be the best way to go.
