David de Gea was once again at fault for Manchester United conceding an important goal, as Said Benrahma somehow scored from long range for West Ham United.
Manchester United's Europa League campaign was ended a few weeks ago by Sevilla, thanks to a couple of awful errors from their goalkeeper.
First he made a terrible decision to pass to Harry Maguire under pressure, with the centre back unable to do anything but give the ball away.

Later in the game, the Spaniard's attempt at controlling the ball outside his area went completely wrong, as Erik ten Hag's side crashed out of Europe.
Since then, the former Atletico Madrid number one has been back on form, helping his side reach a penalty shoot-out in the FA Cup semi-final, thanks to some great saves.
Though he didn't save anything in the shoot-out, his ability to tap into the dark arts of goalkeeping helped put Solly March off for the decisive miss.

However, on Sunday, with their Champions League hopes under threat from rivals Liverpool, the 32-year-old made his latest costly error.
This time it wasn't in his ball playing but in his shot stopping, as Benrahama's long range effort was somehow palmed into the back of his own net by De Gea.
Referencing the shoot-out against Brighton, one fan joked, "At least De Gea went the right way for that shot. Every cloud."

"De Gea checking his studs, picking mud + flinging away turf after that shocking error. Benrahma's shot was effectively a pass-back," said another.
"De Gea makes an error, shakes his head, drinks some water from his bottle, throws it, repeats the same errors in every game and gets rewarded a new deal," added a third.
Another obviously wants to see the back of the 32-year-old at Old Trafford, arguing, "David De Gea. We are done. Game over. Sell now!"
"I can’t go through another season watching De Gea in goal man," stated a fifth.

And a sixth pleaded, "Someone save us from De Gea man."
