David de Gea has broken his silence amid speculation over his new Manchester United contract.
Yesterday it was reported that De Gea had reached an agreement with United towards the end of last season on drastically-reduced terms.
However, as per the Athletic the paperwork was never completed at the club’s end and United changed their mind in how much they wanted to pay him and the contract length.

De Gea was subsequently informed that original contract offer was no longer relevant and in its place, new terms were available that would mean another considerable reduction in salary.
With the United staff returning to start pre-season training next week, De Gea is still allegedly undecided on his future. Indeed, at present the 32-year-old, who joined United back in 2011, is going to be out of contract on Friday and officially a free agent.

On Wednesday De Gea tweeted a yawn emoji, amid claims he is yet to have put pen to paper on a new United contract.
And in response to the Spaniard's cryptic message prominent United YouTuber Mark Goldbridge wrote: "My Keeper."
Dea Gea's contract situation has coincided with reports United are exploring a deal to sign Inter shot stopper Andre Onana.
Reports in Italy claimed earlier this month that Inter sporting director Piero Ausilo had already met with Red Devils director David Harrison about a possible transfer for the 27-year-old.

And Gazzetta dello Sport are now reporting that Ausilo plans to sit down with United chiefs and Onana's entourage in the next "48 hours" to put the finishing touches on a deal.
Onana is contracted at Inter until 2028 and it has been widely reported he could cost at least €50million (£43million).
