Chelsea have reportedly decided to part ways with star midfielder Mason Mount in the summer transfer window.
Over the last few weeks, there have been various reports claiming that contract talks between Mount and Chelsea have stalled.
With his contract due to expire in the summer of 2024, Chelsea may decide to sell the 24-year-old this summer in order to prevent him from leaving for nothing next year.

According to Spanish news outlet Marca, Chelsea will put Mount on the market if no agreement is made on a potential new contract.
Whilst transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has also hinted at Mount’s likely Chelsea exit.
He tweeted: “Mason Mount has now appointed Neil Fewings as new agent, agreement done weeks ago — understand it’s very likely that he will leave Chelsea in July.”

Earlier in the month, Chelsea boss Graham Potter spoke about the situation with Mount.
He said: “My feelings for Mason are clear. He's a fantastic person firstly, but sometimes these things happen.
“They're complicated, and it's best I speak little about it, let them get on with it in deciding what is right for both parties.”
Potter also added that Mount remains in his plans for next season.

Chelsea’s Premier League rivals Liverpool are believed to be the favourites to sign Mount in the summer, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp looking to refresh his midfield options.
Liverpool legend John Barnes has stated that Mount has the right profile to thrive at Anfield.
He told BonusCodeBets: “I think Mason Mount would fit in with what we want.

“If you look at his strength as a midfield player – he attacks, he defends, he’s dynamic, he’s direct, he gets up and down. This is the profile of a Liverpool player.
“He could fit in with what we want… I would welcome that signing if he were to come to Liverpool.”
Will Mount leave Chelsea in the summer? Only time will tell.
