Chelsea have agreed to sell Timo Werner to RB Leipzig for a fee of £25.3 million, it has been reported.
The 26-year-old will end the period at Chelsea, where he failed to live up to the quality that he showed during his time in the Bundesliga.
Scoring just 23 goals in 89 Chelsea appearances, Werner is set to return to the side where he previously netted 90 in 156 appearances at Leipzig.

It was revealed earlier this week that Werner’s relationship with Thomas Tuchel has broken down after a meeting between the pair.
They disagreed on Werner’s playing time as well as the way in which the forward was being used in Tuchel’s system.
Werner admitted last month that he could be happier away from Chelsea as the forward appears to now be getting his wish, and a return to the Bundesliga.

The German admitted: “It is hard to say (if clear the air talks are needed). First of all, the most important thing is that I am happy.
"I am happy when I play and score goals.
"That’s the fact. That’s what I should take care of and the other things will come.
"I could be happy everywhere.

"It is hard to say (why I've struggled for game time).
"I didn’t ask but I think of course the manager always has different ideas, different thoughts and what you need in different games, I think in many games I was not in his thoughts so I try to change that.
"It is clear I want to play more and I should play more to first be in good shape for the World Cup and also, to have a chance to play at the World Cup. I think it doesn’t change anything whether it is a winter World Cup or in the summer.”

With the World Cup coming up at the end of the year, Werner will be hoping to get regular first team football as he looks to lead Germany’s attack.
And now, as revealed by Sky Germany, Werner will be getting this at RB Leipzig, with the German club agreeing a fee with Chelsea for the striker.
Werner will make his return to Leipzig after a fee of £23.5 million has been agreed.

While it will see Chelsea make a loss on the forward, Werner’s reported £270,000-a-week wages will now be off the books, with Tuchel’s side most likely to dip into the transfer market for a replacement.
