Timo Werner returning to RB Leipzig is an option this summer as the forward looks like he could leave Chelsea.
The 26-year-old had an inconsistent season last campaign, making 37 appearances in all competitions and scoring 11 goals, assisting a further six.
His future has been thrown into doubt this summer, after admitting that he could leave the club.

“It is clear I want to play more and I should play more to be in good shape for the World Cup — and also to have a chance to play,” he previously admitted.
"First of all, the most important thing is that I am happy. I am happy when I play and score goals. That’s the fact. That’s what I should take care of and the other things will come.
"I could be happy everywhere. It is hard to say (why I've struggled for game time).

"I didn’t ask but I think of course the manager always has different ideas, different thoughts and what you need in different games, I think in many games I was not in his thoughts so I try to change that.
"It is clear I want to play more and I should play more to first be in good shape for the World Cup and also, to have a chance to play at the World Cup.”
Thomas Tuchel added to the speculation, criticising the forward as he stated that he should be ‘one of the happiest’ players in world football due to his role at Chelsea.
He said: "I'm surprised, I would be very happy as a young guy having a contract at Chelsea Football Club.

“I would be one of the happiest people on the planet. Show quality, take your place and defend your place. I would be one of the happiest people on the planet having a contract with Chelsea. If he said this, I do not understand."
It was previously reported that Chelsea were willing to offer Werner in a deal for former Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt before the Dutch international opted to join Bayern Munich.
Reports on Monday revealed that Chelsea attempted to sign Werner’s former teammate Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig, but that PSG had already beaten the Blues to the signature.

This led to further speculation regarding his future, with reports in Germany now revealing that a return to the Bundesliga is an option.
According to Florian Plettenberg, a return to RB Leipzig is an option for all parties but this is still in an early stage.
It would be a long way to go if a deal was to take place this summer, but Werner could return to his former club.
Furthermore, Werner is not an option for Bayern Munich despite the club losing Robert Lewandowski to Barcelona.

It remains to be seen as to whether Werner will remain a Chelsea player this summer, with Tuchel planning for the new season, which is less than two weeks away.
