Belgium have been dealt a blow ahead of their Nations League clash against Poland, with Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku ruled out of the tie.
Lukaku was taken off against the Netherlands after sustaining an ankle injury during a challenge with former Blue Nathan Ake.
His national side have taken to Twitter to confirm that Lukaku will not feature against Poland on Wednesday due to the injury.

The Belgian Red Devils account wrote: "Romelu Lukaku is out for Wednesday´s game against Poland. He started treatment."
It is unclear as to the extent of his injury but with the 2021/22 season over for the Blues, Lukaku will have the summer to rest and recover.
The 29-year-old may not be a Chelsea player next season, however, as Inter Milan have been strongly linked with a move for Lukaku after a poor season back at Stamford Bridge.

Lukaku netted 30 goals in 44 appearances in Italy last season, earning him a club-record £97.5m move to Chelsea, his former club.
Things have not worked out as Lukaku and Chelsea planned, with the forward unable to adjust to the demands of Thomas Tuchel's system.
It has been reported that Inter boss Simone Inzaghi is keen to build his new-look Inter attack around the Belgian, having trained him for 10 days at the beginning of the season before Inter agreed a deal to allow Lukaku to sign for Tuchel's side.

Other reports have stated that Lukaku's future will depend on if Marina Granovskaia stays in west London after the consortium led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital completed a takeover of the club.
The new owners are believed to be ready to hand the German head coach £200m in the transfer market, and much of this could be spent on finding a replacement for Lukaku.
Chelsea have been linked with several forwards already this summer, including Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele.
The French international is out of contract at the end of the season and has worked previously with Tuchel, enjoying a fantastic season during their time together at Borussia Dortmund.

It's unclear as to what the future holds for Lukaku but for now he is unable to feature for his country against Poland during the international break, with Belgium falling to a 4-1 defeat in the Nations League Group D opener against the Netherlands on Friday.
Tuchel and Chelsea have a decision to make regarding their club-record signing this summer.
A return to Inter Milan looks to be on the cards, with a loan deal looking more likely in the transfer window.

Belgium, Chelsea and Inter Milan will all be hoping that the forward's injury is not too serious ahead of the summer months.
