Antonio Conte put Romelu Lukaku on a strict diet that produced incredible results during their time together at Inter Milan ahead of their Napoli reunion.
Napoli are closing in on the signing of Lukaku, having struck a deal with Chelsea in a deal worth £25 million plus add-ons.
He's set to return to Italy's Serie A following his two spells at Inter Milan and AS Roma, where he spent on loan last season.

And the Belgium forward will reunite with former boss Conte, who worked with him during Inter's league-winning campaign in 2021.
Lukaku scored an impressive 24 league goals in 36 appearances as he inspired his side to the Scudetto.
Conte got the star forward in tip-top shape as he implemented a diet that included a Mediterranean menu of vegetables and protein-rich white meats such as turkey and chicken, according to a report.

Fried food, mozzarella and alcohol were off limits, though the player had no problem with the latter having always been teetotal.
As a result, he lost half a stone in weight after sticking to the nutrition plan and he reaped the rewards, enjoying a prolific spell at Inter.
He bagged 23 league goals in the 2019/20 campaign before, as mentioned, netting 24 goals the following term.

Lukaku will once again be coached by Conte, who has driven Napoli's pursuit.
He's spent the last two seasons in Italy's top flight, having had two separate loan spells.
In the 2022/23 campaign, he returned to Inter, scoring 10 goals and registered 13 goals at Roma last season.
Lukaku is expected to pen a three-year contract at Napoli, putting an end to his disastrous second Chelsea spell.

The Blues splashed out a whopping £98 million to lure him back to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2021.
But he scored just eight league goals before returning to his old side.
