Manchester United have decided that they will now listen to offers for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Cristiano Ronaldo saga is one that has plagued Manchester United throughout this transfer window, ever since it was revealed in early July that he wanted to leave the club.
This news broke just before United were due to fly on tour, and the player subsequently did not join the club on said tour for personal reasons relating to a family problem.

The news that he wants to leave the club continued throughout the window, with Ronaldo reportedly ‘begging’ the club to let him go.
Manchester United have always been adamant that they will not sell Cristiano Ronaldo as he is an important player.
Erik ten Hag has also made this clear in previous weeks, with the Dutchman saying back in mid-July: “I am well informed, he also has an option [of another year]. Yes [he could stay beyond next season].

“Of course, I have signed here for three years but in football, it’s short-term as well.”
However, it now appears that the club have changed their tune.
According to talkSPORT, Manchester United are now willing to listen to offers for the striker.
This has come after Manchester United denied reports that they are considering terminating his contract.

The most interested club so far this summer in Cristiano Ronaldo is Atletico Madrid, who after letting Suarez go for free this summer are in need of a striker.
This is not the only time Atleti and United could do business this summer, with the Red Devils reportedly close to signing Matheus Cunha for a fee of around £42m.
One main reason for Erik ten Hag changing his stance on Ronaldo and allowing him to leave is reportedly because of the striker's behaviour.

Ronaldo is said to have been contributing to a negative atmosphere within the dressing room, as the player is no doubt a huge influence and his very public desire to leave the club could easily further fracture an already breaking dressing room.
There has also been other movement in the transfer window for United, with multiple players confronting the board about the lack of signings ahead of Deadline Day on the first day of September.
Manchester United are set to take on Liverpool in the next round of Premier League fixtures, with both sides struggling for points.
