Ali Carter has doubled down on his Ronnie O’Sullivan claim as the pair’s feud continues.
Carter was beaten 10-7 by O’Sullivan in the Masters final at the Alexandra Palace last week.
On the back of their match, Carter accused ‘The Rocket’ of snotting all over the floor.
O’Sullivan responded to Carter’s claim with an X-rated rant, saying: “For him to come out and try to trash talk me like that, do you know what? He can have one of them.

“He can sit on it as far as I’m concerned. I don’t give a f***. You know what he’s like, everybody knows what he’s like. He’s got issues.”
O’Sullivan continued: “F***ing why has he got issues with me? I’m not having it. I don’t care, grow some balls. I don’t give a f***. The more he brings it on, the more I f***ing punish him every time.
“Absolutely. He’s just digging a grave for himself. He needs to sort his f***ing life out.”
Now, Carter has doubled down on his claim, telling SportsBoom: “I know what I saw. I speak facts end of the day. That's it. That's all there is to it.

“He's entitled to his opinion of me. I've got my opinion of him.”
He continued: “He did. Oh yeah, definitely. He was quite friendly when we were younger. I don't really know what happened, but no, I learned a lot off him. Who can't learn off him playing? He's the greatest player of all time. There's no doubt about that.”
Carter told ITV earlier in the week: “Ronnie's entitled to his opinion of me. I just said what it is and how it was and talked facts. Simple as that.

“Angry about what? It makes no difference to me what he said.”
He added: “He says different things on different days. I don't think he knows what's going to come out of his mouth at certain times.
“I actually feel a bit sorry for him, I don't think he's that well mentally. So we move forward and we go again.”
According to the report by the Daily Star, a World Snooker Tour spokesperson has stated that the incident is under review.
