A very moving conversation between Ronnie O'Sullivan and Judd Trump after the World Championship final in 2022 has resurfaced – and fans have been blown away by the "amazing" moment.
'The Rocket' was overcome with emotion on the evening of May 2, 2022, when he secured a record-equalling seventh world title at the famous Crucible Theatre, Sheffield.
After joining Stephen Hendry as the most successful player in World Championship history following an impressive 18-13 win over Trump, the often-relaxed and carefree O'Sullivan broke down in floods of tears.

In fact, he engaged in an incredibly emotional minute-long embrace with former world number one Trump, who delivered some special words as O'Sullivan sobbed in his arms.

Speaking after his match, a teary O'Sullivan opened up about the incident. “I was so emotional. To finally get over the line, I just thought it would never happen,” he said.
“I gave him a big hug and I was just sobbing in his arms. And he said such lovely words.
“What he said to me blew me away to be honest. It just blew me away. I love Judd. I love him, he’s a great lad, and I didn’t realise what he thought of me until then.

“Different respect there, you know. I didn’t realise how he sees me and how I’ve been part of his development."
When asked if it was the nicest moment of his Crucible career, O’Sullivan replied: “Without a doubt. What he said, Judd, just done me in! Honestly.”
