The company responsible for catering in the Olympic Village has hit back at the shocking claims made by a Team GB swimmer.
The 2024 Paris Olympics has turned out to be one of the most exciting Games in history, but away from the sporting action, not everything has gone according to plan.
Pollution levels in the River Seine have caused five separate postponements of practice, with the mixed triathlon relay pushed back a day in the schedule as a result.

Last week, Belgium's Jolien Vermeylen revealed that she 'saw things' in the river that she 'didn't want to think about' while competing in the women's triathlon.
There have been plenty of complaints from athletes about the Olympic Village as well.
Many have been unhappy with the hardness of the beds in their accommodation, which are made from recyclable cardboard.

Italian swimmer and gold medalist Thomas Ceceron was even caught sleeping in a park in Paris after complaining about the noise and lack of air conditioning at the Olympic Village.
The food being served up to athletes has come under fire too.
Team GB swimmer Adam Peaty criticized the quality of food on offer and the lack of certain athlete staples, such as eggs and other protein sources.
He even revealed that fellow athletes had claimed to have found worms in the fish served up by catering company Sodexo Live!.

No photographic evidence was ever shared to support Peaty's claim.
Now, Sodexo Live! have hit back at those claims, clarifying that it has not received any complaints from Team GB athletes.
"There has been zero proof of the truthfulness of this statement, which obviously raises a rather serious allegation," a committee representing the company told TMZ Sports.

"There is no information that's been able to provide validity to this sensationalist claim.
"The 550 dishes on offer in the Dining Hall were developed together with the National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and the IOC over a period of more than a year.
"We always listen to the athletes and take their feedback very seriously. Paris 2024 continues to liaise closely with nutritionists of the National Olympic Committees and is ready to make any further adjustments needed to the food service."
Sodexo Live!, chosen as the Games' official catering partner in March 2022, provides roughly 40,000 meals a day for the 15,000 athletes competing in both the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
