People who bet £10 on Luke Littler to win the World Darts Championship two weeks ago are set to win big money should the teenager beat Luke Humphries in Wednesday’s final.
Littler beat former champion Rob Cross 6-2 on Tuesday to set up a sensational World Championship final against Humphries.
The 16-year-old, who has already earned £200,000 at the tournament, will become the youngest person to ever play a World Championship final, surpassing Kirk Shepherd, who was 21 in 2008 when he lost to John Part.

Littler’s run to the last two has been nothing short of astounding. The teenager started the tournament ranked 164th in the world, while he had a provisional ranking of 50 ahead of his victory over Cross.
In fact, before making his tournament debut in mid-December, Littler had only played four senior matches at PDC premier events.
Humphries will be his toughest opponent yet, however, with the 28-year-old having dismantled Scott Williams 6-0 in his semi-final to become the new world number one.
A victory over Humphries could now see Littler rise to ninth in the standings and pocket some £500,000. He would also become the World Championship’s youngest winner of all time, surpassing Michael van Gerwen, who was eight years his senior for his first title in 2014.

Meanwhile, some punters stand to make a lot of money.
Some people, who put as little as £10 on Littler to win the lot - managed to get in on ridiculous 300/1 odds on the teenager winning the competition.
One person, sharing their William Hill payslip on social media, revealed they had placed a £10 ‘double’ bet on Van Gerwen or Littler to win the competition outright at 488.5/1, meaning they stand to win £4,895 on Wednesday.

Another person on X, formally Twitter, said: "I had an each-way bet for him to win the whole thing. I get paid regardless of what happens now.”
Another added: "I’ve got him on 66/1 outright. Not taking the cash out as I’m not gonna lie, I had no idea who the lad was and slapped the bet on as a laugh knowing he was 16 years old, sticking by him now."
