Luke Littler has revealed that he only passed one subject in school as he opens up about being a role model.
The 2024 PDC World Darts Championship has been the perfect platform for Littler to showcase his immense talent.
On Wednesday night, the 16-year-old will take on world number one Luke Humphries for the title after he thrashed 2018 winner Rob Cross 6-2 in the semi-final.

The teenager from Warrington is fast becoming one of the biggest stars in the sport and has already been described as a role model.
Speaking after his brilliant win over Cross, Littler spoke about how he left school passing just one subject and hopes that younger darts players look up to him.
As per the Daily Mail, he said: “I don’t have any GCSEs, everyone probably has more than me.

“Although I did pass my sport.”
Littler added: “Young dart players, hopefully they look up to me, if they practice they can be where I am.”
Looking ahead to the final, Littler said: “It is crazy to even think I am in the final on my debut.
“I was happy to win one game and now I can go all the way. It's not easy. You are playing Rob, he is a world champion who won on debut. I've got no words.”

He continued: “I'll be doing what I've been doing. In the morning I'll go for my ham and cheese omelette and then come here, have a pizza and then prep on the board. That is what I've done every day.”
Meanwhile, Humphries has stated that he has to play the game of his life to have a chance of beating Littler.
He said: “I've seen the way he's played many, many times but when you come on this stage it can be a lot tougher but he's just proved that he's got a lot of bottle.

“Nothing is going to phase him. I'm probably going to have to play the game of my life. I've got an uphill task and hopefully we can give the people one of the best world finals ever seen.”
