Joe Rogan's estranged dad once threatened legal action against him after demanding to go on his podcast.
The podcaster's father - who goes by the name of Joseph Rogan - challenged his son to a 'man-to-man' chat on his show over what he described as 'false' claims of violence.
He even threatened a defamation lawsuit against the UFC commentator.
Joseph said he wanted to hash it out with Joe in a sit-down interview while he gives him his side of the story.

It comes after Joe accused his dad of being a 'crazy' and 'psychotic person who beat the f**k out of my mother'.
However, Joseph, a retired New Jersey cop, vehemently denied his son's claims of a violent upbringing.
They have not seen or spoken to each other in 50 years.
In a cease and desist letter sent by his dad's lawyer back in 2022, Joe was warned his claims had 'done enormous and quantifiable harm'.

According to Joseph, contact between them was lost when Joe's mum, Susan, moved away with Joe and his younger sister, Laura.
Despite losing touch, he has no regrets over how things transpired.
"I don’t have any regrets, I don’t even know what you’re talking about, regrets," he told The Sun.
"I woke up one morning and he was gone when I went to call him, to pick him up. I knew nothing about them leaving.

"We were separated at the time and he was where he was, in Newark. That’s it."

Joseph added: "I called and nobody answered the phone. Someone over there told me, 'Well, they left this morning for California’.
"The last time I saw him was two days before. I used to have him every weekend.

"I have a wife, two daughters, four grandchildren. And it’s been 40-plus years. I love what I got.
"We don't talk about him, it never even comes up."
Joe was quizzed about his upbringing by evolutionary behavioural scientist Gad Saad, revealing the last time he had spoken to his father was when he was seven.
"I haven’t talked to him since I was seven," he told Saad.

"It took probably into my late twenties to really calm myself because there was part of me that felt angry that he wasn't around and also part of me didn’t feel in any way like I was safe."
