There could be a shock new sport added to the programme for the 2032 Olympic Games.
Back in the summer, the 2024 Olympic Games took place in Paris, France, with break dancing added to the roster as a new sport.
The event made a lot of headlines, with Australian Rachael Gunn, known as Raygun, attracting a lot of attention after her routine went viral.

Ahead of the 2032 games, which will be held in Brisbane, Australia, it has been claimed that a new event could be introduced.
As reported by German news outlet BILD, poker could soon be considered as an Olympic sport.
While the likes of chess and bridge have been considered as games of thinking, the debate remains with regards to poker.

However, it has been suggested that 2032 could be the year poker makes the cut as an Olympic sport.
It has been claimed that the Global Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF) already recognised poker as a 'thinking and strategy sport'. It was also featured in the World Mind Games, an event that brings together intellectual sports.
The report added: "The big question remains whether the IOC dares to take the step. In 2028 in Los Angeles it should not be so far - but maybe in 2032 in Brisbane?
"The poker community is growing rapidly, and the sport is constantly evolving. It would be no wonder if one day we were played for Olympic gold at the poker table."

Meanwhile, it was reported last year that football's governing body, FIFA, requested two new sports to be included at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
According to Globo Esporte, the world governing body want to add to the curriculum.
The Brazilian outlet claims FIFA want both beach soccer and futsal, two variations of football, in the next Olympics.

Following on from the latest board meeting in Zurich, FIFA are lobbying to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for the two sports to inserted into the mix.
A document released at the meeting says FIFA will issue an official proposal to the IOC.
As per Globo, it read: "Given the levels of participation around the world, FIFA will also propose that both futsal and beach soccer be considered as separate football disciplines at the Olympic Games from now on."
