Travis Kelce's bizarre Christmas gift to Taylor Swift revealed after she missed his record breaking touchdown

Travis Kelce’s Christmas gift for his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, has finally been revealed - and it may not be what you’d expect.

Swift, 35, and Kelce, 35, began dating in 2023 after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was encouraged to hand his phone number over to the singer by his teammate Patrick Mahomes.

Since then, the pair have been regularly pictured together, with Taylor even being spotted at the Chiefs’ Arrowhead Stadium on several occasions.

However, she was not in attendance for Kelce's appearance during the team's trip to Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh when they faced the Steelers on Christmas day.

According to the Mail, Swift chose to spend the day elsewhere, meaning she missed her partner achieving a Kansas City Chiefs record for the most receiving touchdowns in a career.

But she has now broken her silence.

The 35-year-old took to social media, liking a post from the Chiefs' account as well as another from the ‘New Heights podcast’, which is hosted by Travis and his brother Jason.

In Pittsburgh, Travis broke the record previously held by Tony Gonzalez, who had 76 receiving touchdowns compared to Kelce’s 77.

The Mail’s report also suggests that Swift has not attended a Chiefs game this season due to touring commitments.

Despite missing out on the NFL Christmas action, Swift and Kelce will have undoubtedly bought each other some lavish Christmas gifts.

However, according to Marca, Kelce has purchased a less glamorous gift than you may have expected.

The outlet reports that Kelce has implemented a security overhaul at his $6m mansion in Leawood, Kansas.

This comes after his home was burgled back in October while Kelce and Swift were at the Arrowhead Stadium.

The article reports that “$100,000 worth of jewellery, $20,000 in cash, and Kelce's first-ever Super Bowl jersey” were taken during the incident.

A source told DailyMail.com that the NFL star would spare no expense when it came to the safety of the pair.

“As the holidays approach, Travis has gone all out to make sure that the security system and security personnel at his home is invincible,” a source revealed to DailyMail.com.

“The best gift he could get both of them is safety and assurance that they will always have a good night's sleep.”

Of course, it is unlikely that this is Kelce's only gift for his partner given the fact he is worth $52m according to Forbes.
