Tom Brady is arguably the greatest player in the history of the NFL and yet he was hit with a rare and unusual ban ahead of the Super Bowl on Sunday.
The 47-year-old is the most decorated player in Super Bowl history, with an incredible 10 appearances and seven rings to his collection.
The legendary quarter-back won six Super Bowl titles with the New England Patriots and then experienced another triumph with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.

Brady retired for a second time in 2022 and the five-time Super Bowl MVP took up a broadcasting role with Fox Sports.
He penned a 10-year deal which is said to be make him the highest-paid sports commentator in history, with a reported pay packet of $375 million.
Brady has been part of Fox's NFL coverage alongside lead commentator Kevin Burkhardt and will provide analysis for Sunday's crunch clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Typically, broadcasters attend team practices to gain information which will help with the insight and Burkhardt, Erin Andrews, Tom Rinaldi, Jimmy Johnson, Curt Menefee, Julian Edelman, Peter Schrager, and Kristina Pink were all present to watch the Chiefs train, as per the Pro Football Writers Association’s pool report.
Yet Brady was not there, because of a potential conflict of interest. As well as being a minority owner of League One side Birmingham City, he was successful in becoming a part-owner of Las Vegas Raiders.

And because of that, Brady has a different set of rules that he must to follow. He cannot attend practices, while he is also not allowed to be involved in in-person or online production meetings due to concerns he could pass on information to those involved with the Raiders.

As well as being prohibited access from facilities, the same is said to apply to players and coaches - while can also not be critical of officials and teams as an owner.
According to Athlon Sports, some of these rules were relaxed ahead of the Super Bowl - but Chiefs owner Clark Hunt confirmed Brady was not granted permission to attend their practice.
