Kansas City Chiefs president Mark Donovan has addressed claims that Travis Kelce's relationship with Taylor Swift is a fake 'marketing strategy'.
NFL star Kelce and music sensation Swift have been together since July 2023 after they went public with their relationship.
He travelled to several of her tour dates across the globe during the offseason and she attended several of his matches, including the Super Bowl.

They are ready to take the next step, but the 35-year-old tight-end will not pop the question until one condition is agreed.
The relationship between Kelce and Swift is regarded as one of the biggest power couples on the planet considering their popularity and huge fanbases among their respective communities.
However, skeptics and critics alike have questioned the legitimacy of their relationship.

But Chiefs president Mark Donovan insists their connection is genuine, calling their relationship 'authentic' as he dismissed the notion that they are only together for a 'marketing strategy'.
"I'd love to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship, and we're happy to have it," he said on CNBC via GB News.
Donovan also stated that Swift is an 'authentic fan' of the Chiefs, who triumphed over the San Francisco 49ers at this year's Super Bowl.

"It's been nothing but good for us," he added.
"I think the best thing I can say about the whole relationship and the impact it's had on us is: Taylor Swift is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom.
"She is an authentic fan, and that matters to our fans and our fanbase, and it matters to us and we try to respect that.
"We're trying to celebrate it, but it's not about doing too much or showing her every touchdown or anything like that."
