Taylor Swift will likely miss the Super Bowl even if her boyfriend Travis Kelce and his Kansas City Chiefs qualify.
Swift has regularly been spotted donning a Chiefs jersey and cheering on Kelce from the sidelines in the run-up to the Super Bowl final.
The play-offs kicked off last weekend, and after Kelce’s side dispatched the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, they are now just a game away from the Super Bowl, which is set to take place on February 11.

Should the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, they will set up a heavyweight encounter with either the Detroit Lions or the San Francisco 49ers. However, should that happen it’s unlikely Swift will be in attendance.
That’s because the pop star’s The Era’s Tour is still in full swing.
While the US leg of the tour is completed, the 34-year-old is set to get back on the road for four shows in Tokyo, Japan, set to take place between February 7 and February 10.

In turn, though Swift will technically be free from her touring schedule on February 11, she’d have a hefty journey ahead of her to get from the stage in Tokyo to the Allegiant Stadium in Nevada for Super Bowl LVIII.
While Swift could feasibly make the 13-hour journey, she may gamble on the prospect of the Chiefs reaching another Super Bowl final in future.
They have previously made the Super Bowl five times in their 64-year history, with three of those occasions coming in the last four years.
Moreover, they have won the competition three times, in 1970, 2020 and 2023.

For now, we'll have to wait and see whether the Chiefs will make it to the final, and if they do, whether Swift is willing to brave a trip across continents to be in attendance.
