
Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl half-time show was interrupted as footage went viral on social media.
Two-time defending champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, took on the Philadelphia Eagles at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana, on Sunday night as the Super Bowl LIX took place.
During what was a one-sided contest, the Eagles came out on top as touchdowns from Jalen Hurts, Cooper DeJean, AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith sealed a 40-22 win.
The Eagles led 24-0 at half-time as Lamar came out to perform in front of an expectant crowd.

Lamar, 37, performed hits such as 'Not Like Us' and 'HUMBLE' and was joined by SZA and tennis legend Serena Williams.
However, it was later claimed that the performance was interrupted by a protester.

As reported by the Daily Mail, a protester stormed the stadium with a Palestinian and Sudanese flag.

The man was then chased by security personnel before being tackled and dragged away from the pitch.

The report also stated that the incident did not make it onto the live broadcast on television, with footage later going viral on social media.
One video showed the protester being dragged away on his knees while Lamar continued to perform. You can watch the footage below.

Speaking prior to the show, Lamar said he was hoping to bring his vibes to New Orleans.

He said during a press conference: "Being in the now and being just locked-in to how I feel and the energy I have now, that's the L.A. energy for me.
"That's something I wanted to carry over to New Orleans and for the world to see. This is me. This is Kendrick Lamar, 37 years old, and I still feel like I'm elevating, I'm still on a journey."
He added: "I think I've always been very open about storytelling through all my catalog and my history of music. And I´ve always had a passion about bringing that on whatever stage I'm on."
Lamar also made history as he became the first solo hip-hop artist to headline a Super Bowl half-time show.
