Jason Kelce is no great fan of Michael Jordan's golf skills, it seems.
The retired NFL star – who was a six-time All-Pro selection and a Super Bowl champion during an illustrious career as an offensive lineman with the Philadelphia Eagles – issued a crushing putdown both of Jordan's skills on the links and Lionel Messi's time in Major League Soccer during an episode of the New Heights podcast.
Kelce co-hosts the hugely popular podcast alongside his younger brother, Travis Kelce, who has recently confirmed he will not retire in the wake of the Kansas City's Chiefs' loss to his brother's old team, the Eagles, at Super Bowl LIX last month.

The 35-year-old is one of the greatest tight ends in NFL history and his profile has risen exponentially since he began dating pop icon Taylor Swift in 2023.

The younger Kelce sibling had been contemplating hanging up his cleats after the Chiefs – with whom he has won three Super Bowls – were beaten 40-22 in the NFL's showpiece game.
And during a previous episode of the brothers' podcast, Travis was waxing lyrical about having seen Messi play for Inter Miami at the Chiefs' home arena, Arrowhead Stadium.

But Jason was quick to pour cold water on his little bro's excitement, comparing Messi in MLS at this stage of his career to seeing NBA GOAT Michael Jordan plodding around the golf course.
“Seeing Messi play with Miami is not the same as seeing Messi play for Barcelona or at the world stage of the World Cup," Jason Kelce said during an episode of the New Heights podcast last year.
"Seeing Michael Jordan on a golf course is not like seeing Michael Jordan in a Bulls uniform, alright? I’m just being honest. It’s not.

“The best soccer players ever at the World Cup is different than seeing Lionel Messi tearing it up in Kansas City — just saying, it’s different.”
