Michael Jordan once sent a clear warning to Steph Curry and other NBA stars about a dangerous tactic, but he was completely ignored.
After enjoying one of the most successful careers in basketball, Jordan is widely regarded as the greatest NBA player of all time, ahead of greats like LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.
'His Airness' won an impressive six NBA championships, was a five-time MVP and a scoring champion on ten occasions but one thing that he isn't remembered for is shooting three pointers.

The three-point line was introduced during the 1979/80 season and completely changed the game of basketball, but Jordan wasn't a fan of it.
Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry currently holds the record for the most three-points made with 4,010 out of 9,472 attempted (42.3%).
Jordan, meanwhile scored 581 out of an attempted 1,778 three-pointers, giving him a career average of 32.7 percent, but with Jordan more than capable of racking up the points through other parts of his game, this never held him back.

Back in 1992, the man himself even admitted that shooting three pointers isn't an area he was looking to improve due to not wanting to become one-dimensional.
When asked about shooting six threes in the first half of game one of the NBA Finals against the Portland Trail Blazers, the NBA legend admitted: "My 3-point shooting is something that I don't want to excel at because it takes away from all phases of my game.
"My game is a fake drive to the hole, penetrate, dish off, dunk, whatever. When you have that mentality, as I found out in the first game of making 3s, you don't go to the hole as much.

"You go to the 3-point line and you start sitting there waiting for someone to find you.
"That's not my mentality. I don't want to create that because it takes away my other parts of my game."
Unfortunately, fans think that Jordan's stark warning about what the introduction of three-pointers could do to the game of basketball has come true, as they feel that many players try to match Curry in shooting from the three-point line, therefore having a negative impact on the game.
