Curry has a strong claim to be the best basketball player on the planet since Michael Jordan retired in 2003.

Back in 2018, Curry spoke about comparisons between himself and Messi, specifically their creativity and innovation.
"I think it’s the creative genius to what he does and a flair, but also there is a fundamental aspect to the flair," Curry said, via GOAL.
"The work that he puts in, I’m assuming, based on the talent that he has, and combining that with the talent that he has and how that kind of shows when he’s out there on the pitch."
The NBA legend went on to admit he understands the comparisons between him and the Argentinian superstar.
